About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Cyber Intelligence Analyst SME to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.
Responsibilities
- Establish analytic standards, intelligence integration frameworks, and threat‑modeling methodologies for enterprise cyber intelligence aligned with DoD and Army guidance.
- Advise senior leadership on emerging threat landscapes, adversary campaigns, and strategic risk to mission systems; provide decision‑grade intelligence briefings and recommendations.
- Oversee development of advanced threat assessments, adversary profiles, and strategic intelligence products that map TTPs to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Direct intelligence lifecycle processes, enrichment workflows, and fusion of technical, operational, and geopolitical context to ensure analytic rigor and relevance.
- Guide integration of intelligence into SOC, CIRT, RCC‑ARNG, NETCOM, and ARCYBER operations to shape detection priorities, rule development, and proactive threat‑hunting initiatives.
- Lead review of high‑impact incidents to validate correlations, characterize adversary behavior, and inform response and mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of intelligence capabilities by evaluating new data sources, refining analytic tradecraft, and maturing enterprise threat‑modeling.
- Mentor analytic teams, set quality assurance practices, and maintain governance for intelligence products and dissemination channels.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Strategic Intelligence, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; OR
- Relevant DoD/military advanced training (examples: DIA Advanced Cyber Threat Analysis; National Cryptologic School advanced cyber intelligence courses; SANS FOR578); OR
- Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: CISSP, CompTIA CASP+, GIAC GCIA, GIAC GREM, CREST CCTIM).
Required experience and skills:
- Experience in intelligence/cyber analysis experience with at least 7 years in senior analytic or technical authority roles supporting enterprise or DoD operations.
- Deep expertise mapping adversary TTPs to MITRE ATT&CK, indicator development, campaign attribution, and analytic fusion.
- Proficiency with telemetry platforms, TIPs, analytic tooling, and enrichment workflows for correlating technical and contextual intelligence.
- Proven ability to produce executive‑level intelligence products, strategic assessments, and briefings for senior leadership.
- Experience integrating intelligence outputs into detection engineering, SOC/CIRT workflows, and operational decision‑making.
Desired:
- Prior experience supporting ARCYBER, NETCOM, RCC‑ARNG, or joint/IC cyber intelligence operations.
- Familiarity with malware analysis and reverse‑engineering outputs to inform attribution and detection content.
- Experience leading analytic modernization initiatives, data‑source integration, and enterprise threat‑modeling programs.

Details
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
