About The Role

Peraton seeks a Cyberspace/Network Architect SME to support the PACOM J6 with Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Cyber (C4/Cyber) technical authority during travel team deployments.

 

Location: Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep technical expertise on C4 systems operating in the USINDOPACOM AOR
  • Advise on SATCOM, terrestrial, undersea cable, and tactical network dependencies
  • Support characterization of mission partner network environments
  • Identify technical gaps and resilience vulnerabilities in theater C4 infrastructure
  • Serve as HQ technical authority for C4 systems during travel team deployment periods
  • Contribute to decision-support products for commander-level consumption
  • Provide remote technical support to deployed travel teams as required
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 10 years with Ph.D.  Will consider HS+20 or Associates +18
  • Hands-on experience with theater C4 systems (SATCOM terminals, tactical radios, network infrastructure)
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM communications architecture and mission partner connectivity
  • Familiarity with JADC2 concepts and multi-domain operations
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior military or DoD contractor experience in the Indo-Pacific theater

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
