Data Scientist

Peraton is seeking to hire an experienced Data Scientist for its' Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC) program with the United States Transportation Command. 

Location: Scott AFB, IL

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
• Experience with development and implementation of enterprise-level data science solutions.
• Knowledge of various machine learning methods including classification, regression, time-series forecasting, neural networks, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Strong Python skills.
• Demonstrated creative thinker with a mission-minded focus.
• Possess a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to persist in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (interim clearance required to commence task work).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Familiarity with USTRANSCOM processes and systems.
• Active DoW Secret Clearance.
