About The Role

Overview

 

Peraton and its Operational Planning, Implementation and Assessment Services (OPIAS) Team is seeking an experienced Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) Coordinator to assist our client with maintaining and consolidating Command Readiness reporting information obtained from staff subject matter JMET experts.  The DRRS Coordinator will conduct quarterly reviews to the Command Group to summarize the Command's ability to achieve and execute identified JMETs and supporting tasks with regards to Operations and Plans to conduct operations; fulfilling the missions directed to the Command by the SECDEF, while also identifying the Commander’s top Concerns. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitoring and administrative maintenance of DRRS for the ability of the Command to achieve JMETS and supporting tasks as essential to mission readiness.
  • Work regularly with Joint Staff J-35 to conduct other readiness related tasks such as The Joint Force Readiness Review (JFRR) and Strategic Readiness Assessment (SRA).
  • Serve as the Tier II DRRS Helpdesk administrator in charge of both establishing new and maintaining HQ user accounts/privileges, provide DRRS software training, and execute general system troubleshooting.
  • Work with the USCENTCOM Components DRRS Managers to ensure alignment and reporting accuracy. 
  • Serve the role of the Command SME WRT the Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) and the UJTL Task Development Tool (UTDT),  and work with JS and HQ staff for coordinated changes and/or updates.  
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree 8 years of experience
    • Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of DRRS (Defense Readiness Reporting System) experience
  • Have certification or verification of Training in the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
  • Knowledge in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS), with Government or past Military/Current operational and logistics planning.
  • Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to USCENTCOM to coordinate all DRRS Functions and actions in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint.
  • Experience with joint and/or combined military operations and interagency coordination.
  • Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
  • Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
  • Clearance: This position requires an active top secret/sensitive compartmented information security clearance, based on current security background investigation. 

Preferred:

  • Recent DRRS Coordinator Experience with a CCMD
  • Advanced Military Service Schools

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
