Program Overview
Engineering modernization and integration practices to include Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for all of NGA, NSG, and ASG.
About The Role

Join our team as an Expert Systems Engineer, leading multi-disciplinary engineering efforts across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. In this expert-level role, you’ll help ensure the delivery of timely, accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) by driving excellence in systems design, integration, and performance across complex mission environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, testing and evaluation, maintainability, and system analysis activities across NSG, ASG, and partner agencies.

  • Plan and conduct requirements analysis and traceability, architecture traceability, and workflow assessments to improve or automate existing systems.

  • Evaluate cloud service capabilities, workflow performance, and scheduling limitations to optimize system efficiency.

  • Advise government stakeholders on technical solutions, design changes, and the application of emerging technologies.

  • Capture and translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Support the allocation of requirements to system architecture components and executing programs.

  • Conduct and support Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments to guide strategic decisions.

  • Perform and coordinate systems integration and interface design activities across programs and architectures.

  • Contribute to strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management to achieve mission success.

  • Provide expert-level insight linking vision, strategy, needs, requirements, and process development to strengthen capability delivery.

  • Operate at the enterprise level, integrating multiple Major Systems Acquisitions (MSAs) across organizational, agency, departmental, and national boundaries.

  • Oversee and mentor Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level Systems Engineers, ensuring consistent quality, collaboration, and technical excellence across projects.

Why Join Us

As part of our mission-focused engineering team, you’ll work on some of the nation’s most critical geospatial intelligence programs—helping advance innovation, improve system performance, and ensure the success of the GEOINT enterprise.
