About The Role

The Expert Systems Integrator leads and oversees the integrity of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) and Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) enterprise. This role ensures seamless integration and performance across complex systems-of-systems environments—spanning cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructures. The Integrator drives planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of innovative solutions using established engineering processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute systems integration activities across the NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate GEOINT capabilities.

  • Provide a comprehensive systems perspective, including a deep technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments—as well as infrastructure and security domains.

  • Oversee the development of engineering plans and site installation technical design packages, ensuring quality and compliance with mission requirements.

  • Lead and mentor teams of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level Systems Integrators, fostering collaboration and technical excellence across all project phases.

Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.

  • Equivalent experience may substitute for education:

    • +4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, or

    • +2 years of relevant experience with a non-STEM degree.

Experience

  • 18+ years of systems integration experience in government or industry, integrating large, complex System-of-Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructures.

  • Demonstrated experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or projects.

  • Prior Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program/project experience.

Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and successfully pass a polygraph.

Desired Qualifications

Education & Technical Expertise

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts, processes, tools, and languages.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
