Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract. Join a team dedicated to protecting the safety and integrity of U.S. air travel. Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Government Compliance Manager to oversee compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory assurance activities in support of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring full adherence to FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and other applicable federal and corporate standards. You will provide leadership in managing internal audits, developing compliance policies, and supporting continuous process improvement to ensure that all business practices meet FAA and federal oversight expectations.

 

 

In this position, you will:

 

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and audit readiness for all FAA-related business operations.

  • Ensure full adherence to FAR, DFARS, FAA AMS, and company compliance policies.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.

  • Conduct internal audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure continuous compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, regulatory agencies, and FAA oversight teams.

  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation, cost allowability, and pricing compliance.

  • Lead training and awareness programs on compliance requirements across teams.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, subcontracting, and program management.

  • Monitor and report on compliance performance, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure documentation is audit-ready, transparent, and aligned with government and FAA standards.

  • Collaborate with Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Program Management to support ethical business operations and accurate reporting.

  • conduct risk assessments and develop targeted compliance remediation plans.

  • Experience maintaining audit-ready documentation and implementing corrective action systems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance. 
  • 10 years of experience in government compliance, contracts, or audit management within a federal contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and FAA AMS policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated success managing government audits, incurred cost submissions, and compliance reviews.
  • Experience with cost accounting standards (CAS) and DCAA/DCMA audit practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement internal control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience leading cross-functional compliance and audit teams.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition, contract administration, and financial reporting standards.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.

  • Professional certifications such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CPA, or CFCM (Certified Federal Contracts Manager).

  • Experience supporting FAA NextGen or other large-scale federal modernization initiatives.

  • Background in internal audit, risk management, or government cost compliance.

  • Experience developing compliance automation tools or digital dashboards for tracking performance.

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
