We are seeking highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance—where reliability, security, and performance are paramount. 

Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared ITSM Tool Administrator - Senior to support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. 

Responsibilities:  

As an ITSM Tool Administrator - Senior you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: 

  • Serves as a lead technical expert in managing, implementing, and optimizing ITSM tool solutions for complex Configuration Change Management (CCM) processes for the C2ISR transport program. 
  • Leads the development and enforcement of rigorous processes within the ITSM tool for capturing, tracking, and managing configuration changes across mission-critical infrastructure environments. 
  • Manages advanced CCM modules and functionalities within the ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration) to automate change workflows and integrate with CMDB. 
  • Manages comprehensive traceability of design modifications and engineering change requests, ensuring robust data relationships between CIs, CRs, and associated project documentation within the ITSM tool. 
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders (e.g., Systems Engineers, Project Leads, Government joint agencies) to tailor ITSM tool capabilities to specific CCM process requirements and reporting needs. 
  • Develops and maintains advanced analytics, Dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and custom reports from the ITSM tool to provide strategic insights into CCM process effectiveness, compliance, and infrastructure stability. 
  • Provides expert consultation and training to CCM stakeholders and users on ITSM tool best practices, complex functionalities, and advanced reporting features to ensure optimal tool utilization. 
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple high-impact CCM assignments, guiding junior and journeyman administrators, and contributing to the strategic evolution of the ITSM tool's CCM capabilities.  
  • Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other web development languagesConfiguration Management Databases (CMDB) (ServiceNow CMDB, BMC Helix, SolarWinds) for centralized repository and traceability of configuration items; version control systems (Git, Subversion) with CI/CD integration for automated testing, branching, and rollback; change impact analysis tools (dependency mapping engines, blast radius analyzers) for service dependency tracking and risk scoring; and automated conflict detection; enterprise configuration management platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, Alfresco) for documentation, site plans, rack elevations, and ICDs; compliance audit checklists for DoD CCM standards, RMF requirements, and Section 508 accessibility;  
Qualifications

Required qualifications: 

  • Previous experience as an ITSM Tool Developer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level; 
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 4 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 2 years’ experience with a PhD. or 10 years w/o a degree or 8 years' with AS/AA degree
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level 
  • US citizenship is required 
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 451; Element: IT; Work Role: System Administrator; Proficiency Level: Intermediate / ability to obtain 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment. 

Work Environment:  

  • Location: Pope Army Airfield, NC 
  • On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking 
  • Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
