As a Microsoft 365 Administrator at Peraton, you are responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of the M365 platform. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively support both technical and non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office applications.
Configure and maintain security and compliance features such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), conditional access, Microsoft Defender, and information protection policies.
Administer users, groups, and administrative roles; manage security and privacy settings via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Monitor service health and performance using built-in and third-party tools; analyze reports to optimize platform efficiency.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on Microsoft 365 applications.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience (Associate’s degree + 2 years, or High School Diploma + 4 years).
Experience as an M365 Administrator or similar enterprise-level role.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for M365 automation and management.
Knowledge of M365 security and compliance features, including DLP, information protection, and audit logging.
Experience with Azure in government or commercial environments.
Familiarity with Intune for application and device management.
Security+ certification required.
U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational, prioritization, and workload management skills.
Understanding of IT management principles, ITIL processes, and change management.
Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Experience with modern office technologies.
