Program Overview
About The Role

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Intelligence Analyst to join our Defense and Intelligence Operations team, focused on conducting systematic testing, validation, and integrity checks on the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) and other related intelligence production and dissemination systems. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and operational readiness of mission-critical databases used for all-source intelligence analysis and decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structured testing and quality assurance on MIDB and similar intelligence systems to ensure proper data integration, accuracy, and performance.
  • Conduct data integrity checks, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and coordinate with system engineers or data stewards for resolution.
  • Support validation and verification (V&V) processes during system updates, new feature rollouts, or database migrations.
  • Document and report test findings, issues, and remediation steps in accordance with agency or program requirements.
  • Liaise with software developers, intelligence production teams, and database administrators to improve system functionality and reliability.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in workflows, system usability, or data consistency based on testing results.
  • Stay informed on system changes, new releases, and evolving intelligence community data standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and IC data handling and system security protocols.
Qualifications

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; additional 4 years can be substituted in lieu of degree

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain poly.
  • Must have experience in MIDB and MARS support.
  • Familiarity with MIDB, GEOINT/MASINT, SIGINT, or other IC systems and data structures.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and metadata, especially within military or intelligence systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce testing documentation and brief stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting intelligence customers with all-source or foundational intelligence.
  • Familiarity with IC data standards
  • Working knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, or data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Background in systems integration, software development lifecycle (SDLC), or system-of-systems testing environments.

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
