About The Role
Peraton is seeking an experienced Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner to support Combatant Command (CCMD) level planning by integrating Information Related Capabilities (IRCs), functions, and tasks into all facets of operational strategy. This role ensures that command leadership and staff fully consider IRCs in the decision-making process.
Location: Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct expert mission analysis, problem solving, and assessments using all available information systems and IRCs.
- Integrate inter-agency and intelligence community (IC) inputs into planning.
- Develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the cyber and electromagnetic spectrum.
- Incorporate key cultural factors into operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments.
- Review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level MISO and IO directives in support of maneuver elements.
- Apply technical expertise to planning and execution across the information environment.
- Identify and track performance measures aligned with mission effectiveness.
- Advise on the application of IRC capabilities during the development of operational concepts.
Required Expertise:
- Deep working knowledge of MISO/IO, Military Deception (MILDEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Cyberspace Operations.
- Ability to integrate joint warfare capabilities and synchronize activities across domains.
- Familiarity with core, supporting, and related IO competencies to assist USSOCCENT/IWTF-C planners.
- Exceptional oral, visual, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to advise, negotiate, and persuade senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Skilled in gaining acceptance of strategic concepts, guidance, and policy recommendations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of planning experience, or a combined total of a minimum of 12 years between education and relevant service. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
- MISO (37F/37A) career field or similar military equivalents.
- Knowledge in joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level MISO/PSYOP plans and orders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with MISO planning at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
- Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to the CCMD to coordinate all operations in the information environment in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint.
- Experience with joint and/or combined military operations and inter-agency coordination with Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies and capable of recommending changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships.
- Experience in the following:
- Proficient in integrating IRC capabilities into cyber plans and operations.
- Knowledge of military command relationships and command and control (C2) procedures.
- Able to coordinate MISO/PSYOP, EW, MILDEC actions within the proper channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2.
- Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
- Military Deception (MILDEC)
- OPSEC
- EW
- Cyberspace operations
- Coordinating intelligence requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport with at least 2 years remaining before expiration.
- Must meet Visa Qualification standards for Doha, Qatar.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current security background investigation.
Preferred:
- Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences.
- Ability to work effectively within task organized working groups.
- Expertise in planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities.
- Adept at developing and utilizing information products that leverage current and emerging technologies to inform planning, improve coordination, and enable timely decisions.
- Must demonstrate creative and critical thinking.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range
Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
