About The Role

The Mission Engineer & Integrator provides technical and operational expertise and support for technical operations planning and execution. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Support the deployment of operational technology systems and equipment, including participation in overseas deployments as directed by the sponsor;
  • Write or contribute to operational correspondence and operational approval processes in various formats and venues;
  • Monitor in-coming operational correspondence and identify action items for response
  • Assist Sponsor personnel conducting risk management and governance responsibilities in reviewing, defining, and clarifying operational requirements; 
  • Leverage your professional network across organizational boundaries to streamline problem-solving
  • Analyze situational conditions and constraints to identify appropriate technologies, capabilities, systems, and equipment to meet operational requirements; 
  • Support the generation of, and updates to, concepts of operations; 
  • Provide operational input to the development of new systems, capabilities, and equipment; 
  • Provide tradecraft recommendations and best practices during operations planning, assessment, and approvals; 
  • Ensure technical and operational constraints are communicated and addressed as part of operational planning and execution; 
  • Perform trade studies from testing and evaluation lessons learned, new intelligence gained, and/or operational feedback and provide recommendations for system modifications and upgrades; 
  • Support the development of operational procedures to include identification of mission contingencies; 
  • Provide recommendations with respect to end-to-end system capability gaps affecting usability and operability of systems; 
  • Review all-source reporting on assigned portfolios to produce counterintelligence guidance on inherent or known risks and mitigations surrounding the use of technology; 
  • Perform technical security and risk assessments to identify points of vulnerability and operational security risks, and recommend risk mitigation strategies;
  • Validate and verify operational and technical requirements

**This role requires the candidate to perform duties onsite Mon-Fri. May require 10% travel, based on customer needs**

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with relevant Polygraph
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Experience working in customer environment
  • Significant background supporting technical operations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Spanish language capability
  • Institutional knowledge of the customer mission and programs
Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
