About The Role

Peraton is seeking an expert-level Mission Manager to support oversight of the reporting and publication processes addressing key issues of national security facing the United States. The lead analyst will help manage the lifecycle of finished products, briefings, and talking points, and support the evaluation of data collect related to specific topics of interest. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Analyzing collections data, recommending analytic priorities, and assessing progress on key strategies to close knowledge gaps;
  • Facilitating interagency working groups to support the development of collection strategies and opportunities to enhance that collection;
  • Producing background papers and talking points in support of collection targets and mission priorities;
  • Assessing knowledge gaps and supporting strategy development aimed at closing those gaps;
  • Ensuring all products adhere to applicable customer and community standards;
  • Maintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed;
  • Engaging with colleagues to support initiatives designed to enhance customer tools and close capabilities gaps
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, 4 years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree;
  • Experience with analytic methodologies and tradecraft, and ability to apply those skills within the intelligence cycle;
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues independently with minimal supervision

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting national-level customers;
  • Experience working in the customer’s operational environment;
  • Experience leveraging customer tools and databases to develop analytic products
Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
