About The Role

Peraton’s Cyber Mission supports the United States Air Force by delivering mission-critical Cyber professionals who defend our nation’s security. Our team of experts provides innovative engineering, logistics, sustainment, and customer support to ensure the functionality of network infrastructure, while addressing the most complex cyber operations and national defense challenges. 

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineering, Senior Advisor to support our mission to defend and protect our national security.  

The Network Engineering, Senior Advisor leads design, deployment, integration, and sustainment of enterprise and hybrid cloud network architectures for critical mission operations. They provide expert technical guidance and solution-driven support to teams and stakeholders to ensure operational readiness, network integrity, and enduring cyber operations posture. 

Responsibilities may include: 

The Network Engineering, Senior Advisor will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: 

  • Lead architecture, design, integration, and deployment of enterprise and hybrid cloud network infrastructures. 
  • Provide senior-level technical guidance to internal engineering teams and government stakeholders. 
  • Oversee configuration management and maintain operational standards for network infrastructure. 
  • Manage lifecycle sustainment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of mission-critical networks. 
  • Ensure robust network security through implementation of firewalls, secure connectivity, and threat mitigation. 
  • Support project management activities including planning, requirement gathering, and coordination. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation such as diagrams, standards, and operating procedures. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 12 years with BA/BS, minimum 10 years with MS/MA, Minimum 7 years with PhD
  • US Citizenship and a current active TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI. 
  • Must comply with DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 651 requirements, including holding an approved baseline certification and meeting all KSAs for conducting security control assessments and preparing authorization documentation under RMF. 
  • Demonstrated experience in network design, planning, implementation, and sustained management. 
  • Hands-on experience with configurations, patching, upgrades, and operational performance monitoring in network systems. 
  • Proven implementation of effective network security solutions including firewalls and remote access. 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) services. 
  • Background in multi-cloud fabric infrastructure and cloud modernization efforts. 
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud transitions and legacy application migration. 
  • Experience integrating innovative networking technologies and strategies. 
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
