About The Role

Peraton seeks an Operational Technology (OT) Criteria and Standards Analyst to support PACOM J6 establish the organizational foundation for ICS/SCADA-focused cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR. 

 

Location:  Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD

 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop OT-specific assessment criteria aligned to DISA OT STIGs
  • Characterize anomalous behaviors and activities, differentiating between potential adversarial actions, system malfunctions, and compliance deviations
  • Provide comprehensive network mapping and analysis of PACOM  OT and critical infrastructure control systems, identifying critical nodes, dependencies, and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Adapt DCDC's existing inspection criteria framework for OT environments
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS+16 years of experience
  • Must have 4 - 6 years of experience addressing knowledge of OT cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation strategies in SCADA, PLC, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other industrial automation systems.
  • Must have advanced experience and technical knowledge of OT with demonstrated expertise in cyber operations and defensive support across the Intel/Operations cycle tailored to secure/defend Army OT/critical infrastructure in the cyber domain (analysis & reporting activities).
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAT Level II certification
  • CSSP-Analyst certification
  • SANS GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) Certification (FOR578) for intelligence
  • SANS Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) Certification (ICS410) for technical OT and CI knowledge
  • or a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing intelligence support to OT/ICS cybersecurity
  • Completed ISA/IEC 62443, or SANS ICS 456, or SANS ICS 515, or SANS ICS 612

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
