Program Overview
Peraton is prime contractor for an IC customer on a program which includes support to a Test Center mission, test tool automation & development, and image quality services.
About The Role

Acadia is seeking a motivated PHOTOGRAMMETRIST / GEOINT IMAGERY ANALYST to support product evaluations, quality studies, and new product initializations. and assessments of GEOINT sensor and system performance.

 

The specific tasks and activities to be performed include, but are not limited to:

  • Sensor modeling; decomposing product formation elements to quantify the overall quality of the image chain
  • Performing geolocation and mensuration accuracy assessments
  • Modeling the geometric collection process to trace the exact location of a point on the ground to the corresponding pixel location on an image
  • Applying GEOINT imagery analysis and exploitation techniques to support product evaluation, quality assessment, and engineering analysis activities
  • Supporting assessment projects related to the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)
  • Performing baseline assessments of system performance to support sensor initialization
  • Conducting operational monitoring of system performance over time
  • Analyzing imagery and system performance data to identify errors, anomalies, or degradation
  • Responding to detected errors by recommending possible causes and corrective actions
  • Applying knowledge of imagery exploitation, targeting, geolocation, mensuration, sensor characteristics, and photogrammetric principles to support technical assessments          

 

Location: This position would be 100% onsite in St. Louis, Missouri. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Education:

  • Must have a minimum of a Top Secret clearance and willing to upgrade clearance to TS/SCI and sit for and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- Contract requires TS/SCI with poly.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in STEM or Geographic Information Systems
  • 5+ years of experience working with GEOINT imagery, imagery platforms, and/or sensor-derived image products, including experience with geolocation, imagery analysis, or exploitation
  • Experience with GEOINT imagery exploitation and analysis software such as ArcGIS, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, Active Earthscape, ERDAS Imagine, RemoteView, or similar tools
  • Applied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes
  • Experience with GEOINT imagery analysis, exploitation, and/or targeting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with emphasis on briefing to obtain decisions and solve technical issues and writing test plans and reports
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn, solve problems, and perform in a dynamic work environment
  • Track record of delivering results

 

Preferred Skillset:

  • Understanding and application of image quality standards (e.g., NIIRS), scales, metrics, mensuration, and image quality equations
  • Knowledge of National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) image chain
  • Experience with imagery product quality assessment, sensor performance evaluation, or image quality analysis
  • Experience with geolocation and mensuration assessment methodologies
  • ASPRS membership or professional certificate
Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
