We are seeking Platform Access & Account Management Specialists to provide operational support for the enterprise access lifecycle, including user onboarding and offboarding, organizational membership, role and entitlement changes, privileged-access requests, and access-related troubleshooting.
This role supports day-to-day access-management processes built on enterprise identity and access-management services. The Specialist will manage approved user and organizational entitlements through established workflows and policies while escalating complex federation, automation, and policy issues to engineering teams. This position focuses on platform-level access administration rather than direct administration of underlying cloud accounts or infrastructure.
Process user onboarding, offboarding, role-change, and organizational membership requests in accordance with established procedures.
Manage approved platform roles, groups, and entitlements using defined access-management workflows and policies.
Support administrators with standard user and access-management activities.
Coordinate privileged-access and elevated-role requests through required approval and authorization processes.
Validate user, organizational, role, and entitlement information to ensure access is provisioned accurately and appropriately.
Provide Tier 2 support for access issues across enterprise platforms and services, including GitLab, Kubernetes, ServiceNow, and federated cloud environments.
Troubleshoot identity, authentication, authorization, role, group, and entitlement issues that do not require engineering-level changes.
Identify incorrect organizational mappings, missing entitlements, role-assignment issues, and access-policy conflicts.
Gather and document relevant troubleshooting information and escalate federation, automation, policy, or platform defects to appropriate engineering teams.
Partner with platform and application teams to resolve recurring access issues and minimize disruption to users and administrators.
Support periodic access reviews, recertification, and deprovisioning activities.
Maintain accurate access-management records, ticket documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
Track recurring access issues and identify opportunities to improve access workflows, documentation, and automation.
Support audit and compliance activities related to user accounts, entitlements, privileged access, and access lifecycle actions.
Ensure access-management activities are performed in accordance with security policies, approval requirements, and established procedures.
