About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Power Platforms Developer, Senior to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, and sustain enterprise Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) to meet ARNG G‑6 operational, analytics, and automation requirements.
- Build secure, scalable applications and automations integrating authoritative data sources, service management tools, and enterprise systems across NIPRNet/SIPRNet environments.
- Implement ALM/DevOps practices for solution lifecycle: source control, solution packaging, deployment pipelines, versioning, testing, and release management.
- Embed security and governance controls: role‑based access, DLP policies, auditing, data classification, and environment strategy to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
- Develop complex integrations (connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps) and ensure robust error handling, retry/resiliency patterns, and performance tuning.
- Produce technical designs, solution documentation, runbooks, and operational support artifacts; support production deployments and 24/7 operational readiness.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and operations teams to coordinate change/release, perform troubleshooting, and validate RMF/ATO evidence as needed.
- Deliver automation to streamline workflows (incident tracking, change management, capacity monitoring) and translate stakeholder requirements into governed reporting and dashboards.
- Mentor junior developers, codify reusable components, and contribute to Center of Excellence standards and best practices.

Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BS) or a related field; OR
- Relevant DoD/military training (example: DAU SWE 301); OR
- Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (example: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate).
Required experience and skills:
- IT/software development experience with at least 3 years hands‑on Power Platform development and enterprise solution delivery.
- Expert proficiency with Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven), Power Automate (cloud/desktop flows), Power BI (modeling/DAX), and Dataverse.
- Strong integration skills: REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, and secure data flows between Microsoft 365, Azure, and external systems.
- Experience implementing ALM/CI‑CD for Power Platform, solution packaging, capacity tuning, incremental refresh, and deployment automation.
- Solid dev skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PowerFx), scripting (PowerShell), and experience with performance troubleshooting and operational runbooks.
- Ability to produce decision‑grade technical designs, security/compliance artifacts, and operational documentation for senior stakeholders.
Desired:
- Prior DoD/ARNG Power Platform governance or COE experience and familiarity with RMF/ATO evidence workflows.
- Experience with advanced Power Platform extensibility (PCF components), Power Platform ALM tooling, and enterprise monitoring/observability for automation solutions.

Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
