Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Program Manager/Development Lead to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.

 

This position is on-site in Columbus, Ohio.

 

This individual will serve as both the Program Manager and Development Lead for the Enterprise Financial Management System modernization effort. Owns delivery execution while providing hands-on technical leadership across application development, form conversion, workflows, and integrations. This role sets technical direction, leads sprint execution, and remains accountable for program outcomes.

 

Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the EFMS modernization program
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and delivery risk
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization
  • Maintain assumptions, constraints, and formal change control
  • Provide executive reporting and delivery transparency
  • Set technical direction for application development and integrations
  • Review and approve designs, code patterns, and implementation approaches
  • Guide developers on form architecture, workflow logic, and standards
  • Resolve complex technical issues and delivery blockers
  • Coordinate closely with architecture, QA, security, and operations
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
  • 10+ years of combined application development and delivery leadership experience
  • Prior experience serving as both technical lead and program manager
  • Experience modernizing legacy enterprise systems
  • Experience with agile program management using sprint-based delivery models.
  • Proven ability to manage fixed price or tightly scoped engagements.
  • Strong skills in risk, dependency, and issue management.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong background in enterprise application development.
  • Hands on experience with modern web application stacks.
  • Solid understanding of workflow driven and form based systems.
  • Ability to review, guide, and influence code level implementation decisions.
  • Experience leading development teams through application modernization efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public-sector or large regulated-environment experience preferred

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
