About The Role
Peraton’s OPIAS Team is seeking an experienced PSYOP/MISO Integrator to support USCENTCOM by planning, integrating, and executing Psychological Operations (PSYOP) and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) at the strategic and operational levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the implementation of PSYOP programs and plans in support of USCENTCOM objectives.
- Guide planning, execution, and production of PSYOP activities and objectives across the strategic and operational spectrum.
- Advise commanders, staff, and supported units on all PSYOP/MISO-related activities, products, and capabilities.
- Conduct target audience (TA) and environmental analysis to identify key behaviors, vulnerabilities, and messaging avenues.
- Identify and recommend effective messaging conduits to influence designated TAs.
- Plan influence activities, develop series, deliver influence products, and assess progress toward approved behavioral objectives.
- Integrate PSYOP/MISO functions into all phases of Combatant Command (CCMD) planning and decision-making processes.
- Ensure PSYOP/MISO is incorporated into deliberate planning, contingency plans, and crisis action planning.
- Provide expert mission analysis, problem-solving, and assessment in support of information-related operations.
- Collaborate across inter-agency and intelligence community (IC) partners to ensure unified and synchronized influence activities.
- Develop innovative approaches to counter adversary use of information within the cyber and electromagnetic domains.
- Assess cultural dynamics and factors that impact operational planning, risk, and security considerations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant planning experience with a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years with MS/MA degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree requirement.
- PSYOP/MISO (37A/37F) career field.
- Knowledge in joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level PSYOP/MISO plans and orders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with PSYOP Integrating at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
- Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to COCOM to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint with experience with joint and/or combined military operations and inter-agency coordination with knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
- Capable of recommending changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships and Proficient in integrating PSYOP/MISO capabilities into cyber plans and operations with knowledge of military command relationships and command and control (C2) procedures.
- Able to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions within the proper channels and develop policies that incorporate the principle of C2.
- Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
- Military Deception (MILDEC)
- OPSEC
- EW
- Cyberspace operations
- Coordinating intelligence requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Possess a current U.S. Passport.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent joint or service level information operations planning experience with current COCOM AOR Experience.
- Joint cyber operations planners course.
- Joint information operations planner course.
- Defense OPSEC planner course.
- Special warfare advanced targeting and analysis course.
- Special operations MILDEC planners course.
- Irregular warfare course.
- Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences.
- Ability to work effectively within a task organized working groups.
- Expertise in planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities.
- Adept at developing and utilizing information products that leverage current and emerging technologies to inform planning, improve coordination, and enable timely decisions.
- Must demonstrate creative and critical thinking.
- Must be capable of quickly learning new skills.
- Must be flexible and adaptable.

Details
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
