About The Role

We are seeking a Requirements Systems Engineer to support the GEODEV Integrated Product Team (IPT). In this role, you will apply a multi-disciplinary systems engineering approach to define, design, and deliver mission-critical capabilities across CAP/SAP architectures, the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), the Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies. This position directly supports the development and integration of GEOINT systems to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable intelligence delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, service development, integration, testing, evaluation, and system analysis across CAP/SAP architectures and NSG/ASG environments.

  • Lead and execute planning and traceability of user and system requirements, ensuring architecture alignment, process optimization, and effective workflow automation.

  • Develop solution designs based on detailed analysis of mission requirements, system constraints, and emerging technologies.

  • Assist Government stakeholders in capturing and translating mission and customer needs into actionable system and capability requirements.

  • Support system-level requirements analysis, allocation, and integration across complex architecture components and acquisition programs.

  • Contribute to system integration activities and assist in Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and technical assessments.

  • Support the Government in strategic technical planning, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design.

  • Collaborate closely with OSP development contractors and security teams, serving as a systems integration SME to help achieve OSP mission objectives.

  • Support the integration of new and emerging capabilities into a compartmented enterprise environment.

  • Participate actively in architecture and enterprise integration tasks, ensuring technical alignment and mission continuity.

  • Follow Government direction and deliver high-quality products on schedule while proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with Government leads, working independently while keeping leadership informed of progress and challenges.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Science, Engineering, or related technical experience field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
  • 6+ years of experience with government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of a large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environment.
  • 6+ years of experience with the Systems Engineering Lifecycle. 
  • Experience with sensor development, processing algorithms, image science, data optimization, remote sensing or exploitation techniques.
  • Experience with Architecture, Requirements or DoDAF.
  • Understanding of compartmented security and interfaces with multiple levels of security, compartmented and non-compartmented.
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Desired:

  • Experience writing enterprise and segment level requirements, working with end users to derive requirements, and tracing requirements to program level objectives.

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
