Program Overview
About The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Team Member Systems Analyst to join our team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) modernization program. The SAP Systems Analyst will play a critical role in setting up, maintaining, and supporting the technical landscape for migration to S/4HANA, focusing on environment setup, technical migrations, system performance, and cloud architecture.

 

What you will do:

  • Set up the different environments and manage the migration of development and configuration across the SAP systems landscape.
  • Assist in determining database sizing, storage requirements, and planning for future system growth.
  • Support compliance by analyzing and addressing technical and system security findings across SAP environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams for performance tuning, patch deployment, and system maintenance.
  • Monitor and support technical processes to ensure system stability and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and review ServiceNow incident and service request tickets related to SAP Basis and drive them to resolution.
  • Assist with production deployments and ensure minimal disruptions by analyzing pre- and post-deployment technical performance.
  • Contribute to technical solution designs and provide analytical input to system architecture discussions, particularly related to the cloud environment.
  • Maintain technical documentation for the SAP landscape, environment setup, and migration activities.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience and a HS Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an SAP Basis administration or technical analyst role.
  • Strong analytical background and technical experience with Linux OS.
  • Experience with SAP system setup, configuration migration, and transport management.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture concepts.
  • Knowledge of Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management best practices.
  • Experience working in production and non-production SAP environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in migrating SAP systems from On-Premise to a Cloud environment.
  • Experience as a Junior Computer Systems Analyst or similar technical role.
  • Familiarity with Agile and KANBAN methodologies.
  • Prior experience supporting CDC, or other federal/government programs involved in public health.

 

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
