Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Senior Director of Capture with demonstrated success in leading capture teams and winning captures.  As a Senior Director of Capture, you will perform in a player/coach capacity, both leading the capture team for a $1.5B Cyber and Intelligence Sector and leading individual capture efforts.  You are responsible for delivering strategic oversight, capture management, cross-functional collaboration, market analysis and intelligence, client engagement, performance monitoring, and process improvement.  You provide mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful development and execution of capture plans across the organization. You work closely with executive leadership, business development, proposal operations, technical, and pricing teams to create and execute cohesive, competitive, and differentiated capture strategies.  You implement capture processes and tools within the organization, leveraging best practices and incorporating AI into daily activities of the team.

 

What You Will Do:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the capture team responsible for delivering winning proposals in a “coach” capacity
  • Lead individual captures and deliver winning proposals in a “player” capacity
Qualifications

• Bachelors and 18+ years of relevant experience
• Track record of managing or performing as a capture lead and winning opportunities >$100M.
• Proven track record of developing mutually beneficial partner relationships with teammates and vendors that deliver value to customers
• Excellent business acumen; strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations
• Able to effectively diagnose client needs, propose and close solutions that have measurable and positive mission impact
• Display exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing
• Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in coordinating the sales cycle
• Deliver outcomes in environments with fast-paced hard deadlines and extended work hours when needed
• Establish, build, and maintain positive, professional relationships and interaction at all decision levels
• Maintain a highly credible professional profile within the industry
• Ability to communicate issues, concerns, risks, and problems in a solution-oriented manner
• Experience applying AI Tool Capabilities (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) in execution of capture activities
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement and pursuit activities
• Must reside in the greater Washington DC metro area
• Must hold security clearance at the level of Top Secret/SCI w/ poly

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
