About The Role
Peraton is currently hiring for a Senior Systems Engineering Support (OS) role with its’ Regional Cyber Center-Europe program.
- Location: On-site, Wiesbaden, Germany
- Shift work – 2nd and 3rd shift possible
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full OS lifecycle for enterprise Windows Server and UNIX/Linux systems across multiple RCC-E enclaves, including installation, configuration, patching, and decommissioning in accordance with Army IT standards
- Implement and enforce STIG compliance and IAVA patch management across all managed server platforms, coordinating with the ISSM/ISSO to maintain an acceptable security posture and support RMF authorization activities
- Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure including domain controllers, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and PKI services supporting thousands of users across the OCONUS enterprise
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualization environments (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V), including VM provisioning, resource optimization, snapshot management, and support for high-availability clustering
- Develop and maintain RMF documentation packages including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and hardware/software inventories to support Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance and continuous monitoring
- Support enterprise services including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms, performing capacity planning, performance tuning, and integration with identity management systems

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM/Business Admin) and 8 years of relevant experience
- An associate’s degree 10 years specialized experience.
- An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for degree
- Must meet TESA requirements
- DoW 8140 - IT (System Administrator) - Advanced
- Certifications — must hold one active certification (one of the following):
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert; OR
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate; OR
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert; OR
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- Minimum of 5 years of specific UNIX/Microsoft Server OS experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Server products, HP-UX, or Solaris
- Minimum of 2 years with U.S. military C2 or commercial LAN/WAN systems
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active DoW Secret security clearance
Preferred:
- Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation of administrative tasks and compliance reporting
- Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi host management in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for software deployment and patch management
- Experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) or equivalent enterprise monitoring platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud integration, Azure AD Connect, and cloud-based identity services
- Experience with Group Policy design and management in large, multi-domain Active Directory environments
- Familiarity with DISA STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), and automated compliance scanning tools
- Knowledge of Hyper-V failover clustering and Windows Server high-availability configurations
Details
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
