The CND SOL will serve as the operational and strategic anchor for Tier 2 governance—bridging enterprise policy with tactical execution across 13 globally distributed cybersecurity elements. • Translate Tier 1 (DCDC) directives into SOCOM-specific policy, SOPs, and readiness standards
  • Oversee posture reporting, threat detection, and event correlation across all enclaves and operational nodes
  • Drive operational synchronization through recurring engagements with distributed cyber elements, ensuring consistent execution and feedback
  • Sustain and tune enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, ACAS), and provide Tier 3 teams with access, alerting guidance, and operational support
  • Champion enterprise-wide cyber hygiene, compliance, and risk management practices
  • Support phased onboarding and integration of additional enclaves (e.g., STEN, MME, SEME) into the unified cyber defense model
  • Maintain situational awareness of DCO sensors and tools; track performance, identify anomalies, and coordinate with government for resolution
  • Leverage current cyber intelligence and threat trends to inform detection, mitigation, and posture improvements
  • Perform or oversee MITRE MAE Crown Jewels Analysis to identify and protect mission-critical assets
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with government stakeholders regarding issues, risks, and resource constraints
  • Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and correspondence to communicate posture, performance, and strategic alignment
  • Mentor and develop CSSP personnel, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and mission-first execution
