Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.
About The Role

Peraton requires a PKI Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.


The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

 

PKI (client token)/LRA Support must be detail-oriented and have in-depth PKI knowledge to provide Local Registration Authority (LRA) services. This position must provide technical support for the full spectrum of token and certificate issuance, renewal and revocation. The PKI (client token)/LRA Support shall operate a PKI and associated help desk to support users. The PKI (client token)/LRA Support shall provide assistance with the development and drafting of PKI policies and procedures. The PKI (client token)/LRA Support shall ensure compliance with published DoD PKI directives.

 

Typical duties include:

  • Performs Tier one and two PKI support. 
  • Troubleshoots PKI-related client-server issues to include middle-ware applications and configurations.
  • Acts as a PKI Trusted Agent, to include verifying identities, validating certificate requirements, and forwarding revocation requests.
  • Supports issuance and renewal of Smart Card tokens.
  • Reports on number of tokens issued, revoked, renewed, as well as issues encountered.
  • Supports engineering activities, as identified, and facilitates the transition of engineering products into the operational environment. 
  • Applies PKI concepts, technologies, and best practices for certificate management, digital signatures, and encryption. 
  • Manages and maintains PKI infrastructure, including key generation, certificate issuance and revocation, and certificate management. 
  • Works in a team environment and collaborates with other administrators, engineers, and stakeholders. 
  • Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Ensures the PKI infrastructure is compliant with government and industry standards
  • Automates PKI processes as applicable, using scripting and automation tools.
Qualifications

Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD 

• Must have experience with SIEM, log analysis, vulnerability analysis, and some scripting experience.
• DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification

• A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required

Details

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
