Program Overview
RDG (Risk Decision Group) provides nationwide background investigations compliant with national government standards to include support of continuous vetting for over 110 government agencies.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking to fill a critical role for a Software Architect, Lead Associate to support critical missions within Peraton's Risk Decision Group (RDG).

 

The ideal candidate provides architectural and big picture oversight for development of new or enhanced products. Articulates the architectural vision, conceptualizes, and experiments with alternative architectural approaches, creates models and component and interface specification documents, and validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions. Works with various product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to create software products containing required features and modifications. Provides technical advice to other departments within the organization and may be responsible for integrating components built by product developers. Works without supervision on highly complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency.

 

  • Creates, modifies, and tests code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run.
  • Writes, analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic
  • Performs or directs revisions, repairs, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Performs systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.
  • Assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience supporting and developing custom computer based applications
  • 4 years of experience with Angular
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret eligible clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • 5 years general work experience with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server
  • 4+ years of experience using Bootstrap UI, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Website design
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting, code debugging and problem-solving skills for custom built applications and databases
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with others
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
  • Proven leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work under general supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
