About The Role

Peraton is seeking a CYBER MISO Planner - Client On-Site Technical Lead, to join our Operational Planning Implementation and Assessment Services (OPIAS) team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will support our customer by providing CYBER MISO Planning and providing direct technical support of a team of Cyber MISO Planners supporting the advancement of new and emerging technologies.

 

The position is located at MacDill AFB, Tampa FL.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Serve as the focal point for all Cyber Information Operations Support with the supported client at MacDill AFB, Tampa FL
  • Provide Technical direction of assigned specialists and their work performed in support for the Command/Client
  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and Cyber MISO Planning and serves as liaison between Project Management Team, the assigned Cyber Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Subject Matter Experts and the supported client
  • Review status of Cyber MSIO planning and related projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assess technical project and work/performance issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. 
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring daily work performance and for intervention and problem solving with on-site technical Information Operations and Military Information Support Operations Planners, and clients. 
  • Brief Monthly Technical Status Meeting updates to DoD Customer  
  • Participate in meetings, conferences and technology related events and experiments 
  • Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day-to-day workflow, and operating costs.
  • Maintain communication with clients IRT to project status/updates

Qualifications

Required: 

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of managing and performing analysis & interpretation of ongoing projects and personnel.
    • Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Full working knowledge of standard operating procedures and practices for the supported client.
  • 13A Brigade and above Information Warfare Experience and/or Functional Area (FA37) or (FA30) career field are required career fields with Extensive Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to CCMDs to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint
  • Senior Level Knowledge in joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level PSYOP/MISO plans and orders
  • 5 years of experience managing projects supporting Department of Defense Intelligence and Information Operations at the Combatant Command Level 
  • 3-4 years of experience in supporting Cost Plus Contracts and working with subcontractors and suppliers in procurement of services in support of US Government agencies and military departments/commands 
  • Must have a current DOD Top Secret with SCI eligibility with an ability to obtain a Polygraph Clearance  
  • Possess or be able to obtain a current U.S. Passport. 
  • Willing and able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations as required by the program. (some locations may be hazardous)

  • Army Psychological Operations Qualification Course (POQC)
  • Military Information Support Operations Integration Course (MISOIC)
  • Electronic Warfare Integration Course (EWIC)
  • Cyberspace Operations Integration Course (COIC)
  • Information Operations Capabilities, Application, and Planning Course
  • Armed Forces Staff College(AFSC) – Phase I & II
  • School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)
  • U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Service College Equivalent 
  • Recent Joint or Service Level  experience supporting management of personnel supporting military information support operations combating Violent Extremism and Terrorism  
  • Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills to include proficiency with customer-based communication systems 
  • Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills; ability to create a positive and productive work environment 
  • Experience working with distributed teams and project management experience of large projects >$20M 
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
