About the Role – Surveillance Radar Technician


Peraton is seeking a Surveillance Radar Technician to join our Surveillance team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will play a hands-on role in keeping U.S. air travel safe by supporting radar systems that are critical to national aviation.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform mid-level technical execution for radar installation, integration, verification, and troubleshooting.

  • Support installation, testing, and cutover activities for new radar systems.

  • Assist in the decommissioning and disposition of legacy radar systems across NAS facilities.

  • Work under senior technical guidance while contributing to mission-critical aviation solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in radar systems, RF troubleshooting, FAA or military radar, or field installation support

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (additional 4 years)

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
