Program Overview
Supports the U. S. Air Force by providing processes and tools to enable the enterprise division and its customers to acquire, develop, manage, transform, inspect, store, distribute, and maintain technical data. Recognized as the authority in technical data management, the program sustains two Air Force Enterprise systems.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator for a position at Robins Air Force Base, GA.

 

Location: On-site at Robins Air Force Base, GA. 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
  • Conduct a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems which requires formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations.
  • Coordinate activities with clients, software developers, and operating personnel.
  • Identify current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggest methods for the identification, implementation and maintenance of the procedures, actions and documentation necessary to assure compliance according to the appropriate federal and international regulations which govern the applications.
  • Report on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements.
  • Keep abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements and Government audit policies.
  • Assist the Information Assurance team with software documentation as needed.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and any associated trouble-shooting.
  • Maintain process documentation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with virtual machine solutions and technology.
  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) networks.
  • In depth knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
  • Demonstrated self-motivated, self-supervisory, results oriented skills; strong organizational and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience building and managing Windows Server OS systems.
  • Experience setting up test environments.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • U.S. citizenship required. 
  • A Public Trust security clearance and Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of DoD security requirements.
  • Experience with intermediate Windows Server technologies (shares, active directory, user accounts, and permissions)
  • Experience with databases and client database connections.
  • A current or recent (within 90 days) Common Access Card (CAC).
  • An active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance or an inactive clearance (within the last 2 years).

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
