Peraton is seeking a Systems Administrator Senior Advisor to provide strategic and technical leadership across enterprise infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical aviation systems. This role is designed for an experienced systems professional who operates at both the technical and advisory levels. You will lead infrastructure strategy, mentor engineering teams, oversee high-availability environments, and ensure enterprise systems remain secure, resilient, and compliant with federal standards. Your work will directly support the performance and stability of systems that enable safe and efficient air travel across the United States.
Work Location:
In this position, you will:
Provide senior-level oversight of enterprise server, virtualization, and infrastructure environments.
Lead the administration and optimization of Windows and/or Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Guide system architecture decisions related to compute, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system incidents and root cause analyses.
Support system modernization initiatives, migrations, and infrastructure refresh efforts.
Mentor and advise junior administrators and engineers on best practices and governance standards.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure system integration.
