Program Overview
Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end systems engineering efforts - from researching and documenting SIGINT findings to developing system requirements, guiding analytics implementation, and producing DoDAF-compliant architectures. You will work closely with Cryptologic Intelligence Analysts (CRIAs) and Target Digital Network Analysts (TDNAs).

What You'll Do:

  • Research SIGINT datasets relevant to the mission; document findings and translate them into system requirement specifications for implementation in analytics and knowledge bases
  • Lead and guide systems engineering efforts for digital network analysis functions, including requirements elicitation, functional allocation, and end-to-end flow analysis
  • Develop operational view (OV), technical standards view (TV), and systems & services view (SV) architectures in accordance with DoDAF standards
  • Support fingerprinting/schema development, Lenses functionality, and CRIA/TDNA Persona capabilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions
  • Conduct and approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize performance, cost, and lifecycle balance across non-functional requirements
  • Develop system design alternatives weighing lifecycle cost, reuse, complexity, risk, and growth potential
  • Apply validated models, simulations, and prototyping to mitigate risk and reduce development cost
  • Lead risk management activities — develop courses of action, workarounds, and fallback positions; monitor risks using Earned Value Management (EVM) data
  • Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) efforts; recommend preferred solutions based on technology constraints, environmental impact, and lifecycle cost
  • Oversee configuration management across hardware, software, and documentation throughout the system lifecycle; serve as a member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB)
  • Provide technical direction for development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including interface standards and concept of operations (CONOPS) development
