About The Role
Peraton is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator / Communications Lead to support a high-visibility customer mission environment. The selected candidate will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization to lead strategic communications initiatives, executive messaging, and web content management efforts. This role requires a proactive professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate strategic communications efforts across multiple organizational levels and stakeholder groups.
- Develop and execute communications strategies aligned with leadership priorities and organizational objectives.
- Draft, edit, and refine executive-level communications including leadership messaging, speeches, briefings, talking points, newsletters, impact reports, and organizational announcements.
- Translate leadership intent into clear, concise, and professional written communications for internal and external audiences.
- Develop leadership profiles, strategic narratives, stakeholder communications, and other high-visibility communications products for executive dissemination.
- Capture, package, and disseminate information from staff meetings, including meeting minutes, executive summaries, and action items.
- Develop and maintain organizational charts, phone trees, strategic placemats, and other visual communication products.
- Collaborate with front office personnel and organizational leadership to develop communications products and solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing business processes.
- Support leadership in the development and execution of strategic plans for high-priority initiatives and organizational campaigns.
- Maintain website punch lists and execute website content updates for multiple departments across the organization.
- Create multimedia and visually compelling communications products tailored to key audiences and stakeholders.
- Streamline communications processes and workflows to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support multiple concurrent projects while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Operate independently with minimal oversight while rapidly adapting to evolving customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA; 6 years with an MS/MA; or 3 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience supporting communications efforts.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including executive-level writing and briefing development.
- Experience developing and disseminating key messages across major communications and media platforms.
- Proven ability to design and reinforce strategic communications campaigns and organizational messaging initiatives.
- Experience creating multimedia communications content for diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, guide, and help drive organizational change.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up in support of customer needs and operate autonomously in dynamic environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with JOOMLA, ACYMAILING, Adobe Creative Suite, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint development and administration.
Details
Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
