About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Manager - Senior Tools Developer to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI.

 

The Information Knowledge Management (IKM) Technical Lead supports the MARFORPAC IKM Section by leading technical architecture, governance, and delivery of Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and analytics solutions across NIPR/SIPR (IL5/IL6). The role aligns IM/KM/DevOps capabilities with the Commander’s Campaign Plan and battle rhythm, manages a build/run team, and drives projects using SDLC and ADDPI processes to reduce manual work and improve decision advantage.

 

What you will do:
• Lead end-to-end architecture and governance for SPO/Teams/OneDrive, Power Platform, and Power BI; enforce tenant guardrails (retention/records, guest access, conditional access) and IL5/IL6 compliance.
• Scope work and prioritize efforts with the DevOps team.
• Direct developers building Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and custom solutions integrated with SPO, and Teams.
• Design information architecture (sites/hubs, content types, metadata/taxonomy, permissions, navigation); engineer modern pages, JSON formatting, and site templates.
• Deliver certified datasets and Power BI reports (semantic models, RLS, performance); publish usage telemetry and reliability SLOs.
• Coordinate with IM and KM to align platform standards and governance; translate KM policy into practical retention/records labeling and lifecycle workflows.
• Plan and execute solution reviews, testing, and user feedback loops to ensure operational readiness; publish SOPs, user guides, and cheat sheets to drive self-service.
• Provide escalation management for SPO permissions, Teams/OneDrive integrations, and data connectors; troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• (Illustrative delivered capabilities) Records Management for historical archives, Asset Management for IT resources, Ticket Management for intake/tasking/prioritization, and automated dashboards/notifications supporting information flow and compliance across directorates; solutions deployed on SharePoint Online, APAN, PIX, and related C2 systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Minimum experience of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft 365/SPO/Teams architecture; Power Platform (Apps/Automate/Dataverse); Power BI (data modeling, certified datasets, RLS, governance); Azure AD/Entra and Graph API; PnP/PowerShell; ALM/CICD in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Proven leadership of technical teams; backlog ownership, SDLC/ADDPI delivery, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong grasp of IL5/IL6 operations, DLP/retention/records, guest access, and DoD/USMC cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; ability to translate requirements into actionable designs and briefs.
  • Active TS/SCI.
  • U.S Citizenship Required.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
