Peraton is seeking a skilled Voice and Cable Engineer to support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) enterprise infrastructure program. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for the architecture, design, and engineering of structured voice and cabling systems across DOE facilities, while also providing technical oversight for network infrastructure projects. This position requires the application of independent engineering judgment to define cable specifications, design cabling schemas, solve complex infrastructure challenges, and ensure that all installations meet federal standards and future capacity requirements. The Voice and Cable Engineer exercises discretion in evaluating site conditions, selecting optimal routing solutions, and making real-time technical decisions that impact enterprise network performance and reliability. This position is ideal for a technically proficient professional who combines hands-on expertise with engineering design and problem-solving capabilities in a mission-driven federal environment.
