About The Role

Peraton is seeking a mid-level Watch Analyst to maintain situational awareness of incidents and threats, and support information sharing across local, state, and national level customers. The analyst will be part of a small, on-site team working to identify events of interest and prepare written products for a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience supporting intelligence and/or law enforcement watch operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment under supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing continuous monitoring, knowledge management, communications, and reporting support to 24x7x365 watch operations;
  • Monitoring a variety of data sources and highlighting items of interest;
  • Drafting daily and event-driven situational awareness reports;
  • Actively and meaningfully participating in shift turnover activities to support shift transition;
  • Maintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed;
  • Maintaining flexibility to provide related services as needed by the customer, such as support to continuity of operations activities
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, 4 years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree;
  • Must be able and willing to work in a 24x7x365 rotating shift environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain a positive, collaborative attitude in high-stress environments;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues with support from leadership

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting national-level customers;
  • Experience working in the customer’s operational environment
Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
