The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) in support of the Defense Human Resources Activity, within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness (OUSD P&R) requires technical support services to provide the ongoing sustainment of cybersecurity, privacy, records management, and information management programs across all DHRA organizations. DMDC maintains the largest, most comprehensive central repository of personnel, manpower, casualty, pay, entitlement, personnel security, person identity and attributes, survey, testing, training, readiness, and financial data in the Department of Defense (DoD).
The scope of this effort is to provide a comprehensive set of cybersecurity, privacy, and information governance support services across Defense Human Resources Agency (DHRA), to include the DMDC and the OUSD(P&R) enterprise. These services are required to address security risk management, compliance with federal privacy laws, information assurance, records management, data governance, and cyber defense operations across both unclassified (NIPR) and classified (SIPR) environments. Activities include system monitoring, technical assessments, policy implementation, documentation support, and coordination with stakeholders across the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, and external partners.
Peraton will deliver centralized Cybersecurity Task Order integration for DMDC networks. Peraton will maintainand improve the cybersecurity program supporting the secure operations ofinformation systems across the DHRA Area of Responsibility (AOR) and promote cybersecurity standardization across DHRA systems. We will deliver innovative and cost-saving solutions and best practices by evaluating and recommending new technologies to advance cybersecurity and evolve DHRA's security architecture. Our aim is to improve the insight provided to DHRA leadership and IT program teams related to the organization’s cybersecurity posture, including risk analysis and mitigation recommendations to enable prioritization of remediation activities.
Peraton will support the secure fielding of emerging technologies across the DHRA AOR to enable the modernization of DHRA information systems through technical reviews, analysis, and implementation recommendations. This is accomplished through increased automation, promotion of process efficiencies across the enterprise and implementation of key performance indicators to effectively gauge successful performance.
