Initially created as a provisional organization in March 2023, the U.S. Army Global Cyber Center operates under the United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command where it plans and conducts continuous operations and defense of networks, as directed, in support of cyberspace operations within or relating to the Army Department of Defense Information Network in order to ensure United States and Coalition forces freedom of action within cyberspace and deny our adversaries the same.
This program consolidates the existing RCC-CONUS Defensive Cyber Operations and Global Enterprise Fabric (GEF) Network Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements for the 2nd Regional Cyber Center located at Fort Huachuca. It provides all necessary personnel, management, and related services to support NETCOM and NETCOM-supported organizations.
The scope of work includes sustaining and securing Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) hardware, software, data, applications, tools, and systems operating on Army NIPRNet and SIPRNet networks. The program also ensures ITIL-compliant management of both current and new government-developed, leased, or commercial systems and applications across various stages of their lifecycle.
