The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) maintains the largest, most comprehensive central repository of personnel, manpower, casualty, pay, entitlement, personnel security, person identity and attributes, survey, testing, training, and financial data in the Department of Defense(DoD). DMDC is the central source to identify, authenticate, authorize, and provide information on personnel during and after their affiliation with DoD. DMDC is the one central access point for: information and assistance on DoD entitlements, benefits, and medical readiness for Uniformed Service members, veterans, and their families.
The scope of this effort is to provide Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) a full range of information technology (IT) services and technical solutions to include any necessary hardware, software, and ancillary components to support enterprise level programs and environments in alignment with compatible industry best practices. The program will provide operational and research support to over 35 million customers globally.
In addition to providing enterprise support services, this contract will provide infrastructure support for several mission critical programs including the following:
The purpose of IT GEMS is to provide a full range of information technology (IT) services and technical solutions to include any necessary hardware, software, and ancillary components to support enterprise level programs and environments in alignment with compatible industry best practices.
Peraton has serviced DMDC for over 40 years. The IT GEMS contract is an opportunity for Peraton to grow this partnership with DMDC to perform global IT service operations, automation, transformation, and program management; worldwide supply chain operations and modernization; cloud migration and cloud native services; and enterprise DevSecOps pipeline automation services for DMDC. We will perform in nearly all IT core disciplines within IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM), development, and cybersecurity. We will provide hardware (HW) support services and supply chain management. A key component to Peraton’s solution will be automation in all of these areas.
