Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is hiring an Administrative Program Coordinator, this role is based on-site at Joint Base Pearl Harbor in Wahiawa, HI.  

 

This role leads and oversees command-wide administrative operations, including correspondence management, records control, personnel tracking, and executive-level support. The ideal candidate will bring expert knowledge of DoW administrative policy, along with proven experience supporting senior military leadership in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. Responsibilities also include driving process improvements across the organization. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, discretion, and strategic awareness in support of mission readiness and operational efficiency.

 

What you'll do:

  • Oversee command-wide administrative functions, including document control, records management, awards, evaluations, directives, and legal documentation
  • Draft, edit, and review high-level correspondence, reports, and briefings, ensuring consistency with DoW standards and mission objectives
  • Lead coordination of personnel actions, including gains/losses, PCS transfers, EAOS/EOS tracking, and overall manpower readiness
  • Conduct data-driven analysis and management assessments to inform resource planning, process improvement, and policy development
  • Ensure the secure handling of classified and sensitive information, maintaining compliance with applicable policies and protocols
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to senior leadership, including calendar management, DTS travel coordination, meeting scheduling, protocol, and interdepartmental communication as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and initiative in support of evolving mission requirements
Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Education:  BS/BA and 10 years of experience
  • Clearance:  active TS/SCI with a CI Poly
  • Former U.S. Navy service member with 10+ years of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive-level support and preparing high-impact correspondence, briefings, and reports for senior military or DoW leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, secure messaging systems, and digital document management platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoW administrative policy, military correspondence standards, and personnel readiness reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in high-pressure environments while maintaining discretion and integrity in handling classified and sensitive information
  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy Information Operations Commands, administrative departments, or senior staff/fleet front offices
  • Working knowledge of DTS, message traffic systems, and protocol support for senior DoD leadership

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
