Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. Peraton is seeking a Alaska Project Manager - Agile to support Weather efforts in Alaska. This role will manage project planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and execution in a fast-moving environment, while applying Agile or hybrid delivery practices appropriate to program needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, status tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Support Agile or hybrid delivery activities, including work planning, prioritization, and team coordination.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, leadership, customers, and support personnel to drive execution.
  • Support preparation of project documentation, status reports, and briefings.
  • Facilitate communication, issue resolution, and alignment across project participants.
  • Promote disciplined execution and continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Work Location / Additional Requirements

  • This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and support field sites and remote locations, as required.
  • Ability to work in austere environments and Arctic conditions, including remote site access and limited-amenity accommodations.
  • Willingness to comply with applicable site safety, badging, and operational requirements.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or Masters Degree with 6 years relevant experience, or 3 years of revelant experience with a PHD.
  • Experience managing projects in technical, operational, or federal environments.
  • Experience coordinating teams, schedules, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery approaches.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting FAA, weather, or federal modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting distributed teams or Alaska-based efforts.
  • Project management certification or related training.

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
