Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Data & Program Management Lead to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) BNATC Program, overseeing data management and program execution across 53 sites nationwide.

This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, regulatory alignment, data integrity, and superior client engagement within a complex federal environment. The ideal candidate brings deep program management experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead data-driven decision-making while strengthening client relationships.

 

This role is work in the DMV area. 

  • Program & Data Management Leadership
    Lead data management efforts supporting operations. Track and monitor all program and vendor deliverables, ensuring compliance with FAA requirements and contractual obligations. Provide accurate data input, integration, and reporting to support executive visibility, performance tracking, and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms for monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and enabling proactive intervention. Ensure high standards of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational transparency.
  • Operational Oversight & Execution
    Oversee the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as the primary liaison between project management, planning teams, line management, vendors, and FAA stakeholders. Review project status, manage schedules, oversee deliverables, and prepare comprehensive status reports.
  • Assess project challenges and develop effective resolutions to meet productivity, quality, compliance, and client satisfaction objectives. Ensure projects are delivered on time or ahead of schedule, within budget, and aligned with FAA expectations and performance standards.
  • Client Engagement & Business Growth
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with FAA stakeholders, partners, and internal leadership. Build a deep understanding of client mission priorities and position yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Support business initiatives and growth efforts within the BNATC Program, identifying opportunities beyond the current scope of work. Participate in relevant pre-sales activities, project qualification, requirements analysis, presentations, and proposal development. Communicate program performance metrics and business results to both client and corporate leadership.
  • Financial & Strategic Accountability
  • Maintain P&L and revenue responsibility for assigned program areas as determined by leadership. Evaluate and assess new project opportunities based on scope, complexity, timeline, and participation level. 
  • Participate in direct customer support as needed and engage in consultative discussions regarding project planning, services, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in program management, data management

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or 6 + years with MS/MA, 3+ with PhD

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site federal programs and vendor deliverables

  • Experience managing data and data strategy
  • Dashboard Management 
  • Proven ability to build executive-level client relationships within a federal environment

  • Exceptional communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
