About The Role

Peraton seeks a hard-charging individual to lead a program’s Media Team. The team of 10 data managers and loaders provides full lifecycle data management for digital media collections received in all manner of digital media forms/formats from customer field locations. Team initiates data provenance, access controls, loading and dissemination of data to analytic tools and data repositories. As the team lead, you will act as the Media Team point of contact leading coordination of data management requirements and priorities. You will establish and maintain work schedules to include an on-call roster for responding to immediate data load requests when USP’s lives are endangered. You will oversee proper functioning of data management and data loading activities ensuring the team adheres to the quality processes set forth in well-documented SOPs. You will train new personnel and ensure on-going training as needed for team proficiency and new tasking. You will gather, document and provide to the customer various metrics on the type and quantity of data received as well as quality metrics highlighting your team’s proficiencies. As a Peraton manager, you will foster employees’ personal and professional growth helping your employees achieve career goals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active TS/SCI with relevant polygraph clearance
  • 10 years of experience working with the intelligence community
  • BS Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or technology field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing relevant lifecycle data management work
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people of varying levels of technical competence
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Mastery of the government’s official messaging system
  • Working knowledge of process to engage customer’s decryption experts
  • Deep understanding of data governance for non-streaming data

 Desired

  • Versatility with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with Jira including creating and tracking tickets
  • Knowledge of customer’s various data transport mechanisms

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
