Program Overview
Improves sustainment efforts for new enhancements and capabilities while maintaining operational applications and their authority to operate. Program supports research, development, testing, and evaluation based on customer requirements and agile processes, while assisting with intelligence missions and global integration efforts.
About The Role

We are seeking a DevOps Lead to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products across their entire lifecycle.

 

In this role, you will use a holistic approach to support system development and integration. You will establish and coordinate the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to overall product development. You will design interfaces and integrate system elements to ensure they function together as a complete system.

 

You will assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. You will participate in system conceptual design and support documentation of design concepts. You will also take part in design reviews of hardware and software components to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.

 

Additional responsibilities include implementing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Artifactory. You will perform security hardening, patching, and server certificate updates.

 

You will work with and maintain a proficient understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including cost estimations. You will also lead the development of documentation for System Installation Plans and System Administration Guides.

 

Positions at this level are leadership positions and require experience orchestrating the development of complex solutions, from challenge identification through full operational capability of the identified solution.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an area applicable to the position, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with a minimum of 6 years experience, or a Ph.D, with a minimum of 3 years experience. 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI or SCI eligibility and active polygraph or ability to obtain a polygraph
• Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active
• Experience in positions of leadership and mentorship of junior/mid-grade personnel
• Experience work with the AWS Cloud (EC2s, S3, RDS, ElasticCache)
• CI/CD tools: Git
• Linux Sysadmin experience
• Experience installing, updating, and managing Server certificates and trust stores/keystores
• Willing to work full time in a SCIF. Remote work not available, but schedule is flexible.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with OpenShift, Keycloak, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Wildfly
• Experience working with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Wildfly, Docker, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory
• Experience implementing STIG hardening, CI/CD pipelines
• Leading a Kanban DevOps team
• Managing multiple environments (development, testing and product)

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
