About The Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of Enterprise IT and Cybersecurity Services for a Department of Energy client. This role performs a variety of project management office support services involving data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager. Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects through its life cycle. Works on overall project planning through reporting on project schedules and deliverables. Identifies, communicates, and resolves risks. Identifies and resolves issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project. 


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Creates and fosters a collaborative working environment that maximizes employee morale, performance, and innovation.
  • Leads practice of data driven business analysis, goal setting, forecasting, and execution follow through.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, managing, and mitigating company risk associated with contract non-compliance.
  • Professional development and management of staff through effective goal setting, performance management, training opportunities, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Develop and manage key metrics to track and manage performance.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the program.
  • Actively identify and lead continuous improvement efforts in direct and indirect areas of responsibility.
  • Contribute to the development of the Program Management Plan and the Mission-Essential Contractor Services Plan, and work effectively within the team to achieve planned goals/objectives.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s core values, priorities and Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Ensure that direct report(s) are trained and evaluated on their knowledge and adherence to the company’s values, Code of Ethics and Conduct, and applicable compliance policies.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum 16 yrs (10+ years of experience managing large-scale federal IT programs)
  • 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity services.
  • Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, FISMA).
  • Active security clearance TS/SCI/Q
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Strong background and understanding of IT, government agencies, security policy and regulations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management with experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

 

Details

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
