About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative DoDAF Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DoDAF‑compliant architecture products (AV/OV/SV/CV/SdtV) representing current and future‑state environments.
- Translate mission needs, requirements, and system interactions into structured DoDAF models and architecture artifacts.
- Produce operational, systems, services, data, and standards views to support enterprise planning, analysis, and decision‑making.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, program managers, and stakeholders to integrate requirements, capabilities, dependencies, and constraints into cohesive architecture products.
- Update and maintain architecture repositories to ensure accuracy, traceability, versioning, and currency of DoDAF artifacts.
- Analyze architectural impacts, interdependencies, and constraints to support modernization, integration, and transition planning.
- Apply industry modeling standards and best practices to support governance, compliance, and review board processes.
- Prepare architecture deliverables, migration/transition artifacts, and decision‑grade briefings for program and governance audiences.

Qualifications
- 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; OR
- Relevant DoD/military training (examples: DAU ACQ 101 (Acquisition); FEAC Institute courses); OR
- Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: OMG OCSMP (System Modeling Professional); The Open Group TOGAF 9 Foundation; CompTIA Cloud+).
Required experience and skills:
- Experience producing DoDAF or equivalent architecture artifacts in DoD, government, or large enterprise environments.
- Proficiency with architecture modeling tools and repositories, and ability to produce AV/OV/SV/CV/SdtV views to specification.
- Strong understanding of architecture version control, metadata, traceability, and configuration management.
- Ability to analyze system interactions, dependencies, and impacts and translate findings into actionable architecture products.
- Good technical writing and briefing skills for preparing review packages and governance submissions.
Desired:
- Prior experience supporting DoDAF review boards, architecture repositories, or enterprise architecture governance.
- Familiarity with RMF/ATO interactions, data governance, and integration of architecture artifacts into acquisition and modernization decision processes.

Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
