We are Hiring! Peraton s seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forensic Analyst to provide advanced digital forensic investigation services in support of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The selected candidate will serve as an integrated member of the FDA’s forensic and incident response team, supporting the protection of critical federal systems and sensitive data. This role requires strong technical expertise in digital forensics, incident detection, analysis, and coordinated response within a federal cybersecurity environment.
Conduct advanced digital forensic investigations involving potential cybersecurity incidents and security breaches.
Monitor and analyze data from security incident response and forensic tools, including EnCase, ArcSight, Splunk, McAfee, and related technologies.
Identify, investigate, and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities affecting client systems.
Prepare comprehensive forensic reports, incident documentation, and technical assessments.
Coordinate technical response and remediation activities with client stakeholders.
Support investigations through resolution and track corrective actions to closure.
Collaborate closely with federal personnel and cybersecurity teams to strengthen incident response capabilities.
