Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is currently seeking an Information Technology Project Manager (Facilities and Technical) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Washington D.C/Hybrid. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s HHS OIG Information Technology Service Desk Support and Engineering Services Program.  The IT Project Manager leads and directs all Contractor personnel in the execution of all tasks related to program and project management and engineering and operations support for HHS OIG Information Technology and Facilities Management Divisions.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage direct reports who provide professional services in support of the program, such as: Training Development and Facilitation, Knowledge Management, Performance Analytics and Reporting, Technical Writing, and IT Asset Management.
  • Proactively monitor industry and Government trends and conduct independent research on potential use in alignment with relevant HHS OIG business and technology strategies.
  • Support data center networks (e.g., LAN, WAN connection) and cloud migration projects as required to meet service requirements.
  • Coordinate with HHS OIG to integrate mission-critical hardware and software into existing infrastructure securely and effectively.
  • Support HHS OIG facility relocation projects and other related OIG projects.
  • Coordinates with the Senior IT Project Manager (Lead PM, Administrative and Technical) during new project planning and invoicing processes.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s and 10+ years of professional experience
  • Current Project Management Institute (PMI®) Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM)
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience managing/coordinating cross-functional teams to support service desk, facilities, and knowledge management efforts.
  • Minimum of 7+years of technical experience managing, maturing, and modernizing IT service delivery for a contract or program of similar size, scope, and complexity to this task order. (This experience shall encompass support for remote and geographically dispersed users).
  • Experience implementing SLAs and performance metrics on a contract of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Experience implementing and managing scheduling tools for managing/automating job execution (e.g., job lists, automated job workflow processes and interdependencies).
  • Experience with developing and managing a customer-focused continuous improvement program.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management toolsets such as ServiceNow: SPM for Project Management and Reporting.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of knowledge and/or experience with:
    • IT Asset Management (ITAM)
    • Hardware procurement
    • Hardware inventory management processes (e.g., receiving, asset-tagging, disposals, and swaps) 
    • BYO to cloud or SaaS subscription models)
    • ServiceNow ITAM
    • Jira Service Tickets
    • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
    • Discovery
    • Configuration management database (CMDB)
  • Independently executes technical writing activities in support of KM strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Washington, DC for in office days weekly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Public Trust clearance or higher
  • Active ITIL certification(s)

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
