If you are driven by national security and energized by hands-on technical leadership across systems integration, network engineering, and SATCOM operations, we invite you to join our team.

We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Lab Facility Manager based at Pope Army Airfield, NC area. This role is responsible for the full operational and technical management of the Systems Integration Lab, directing all engineers who support SIL activities including integration, test, validation, and sustainment of C2ISR transport systems.

Responsibilities:

As the Lab Facility Manager, you hold direct accountability for SIL readiness, engineering staff performance, and the technical integrity of all lab activities. You serve as the senior technical authority for systems, networking, and SATCOM within the lab environment.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the SIL as the enterprise reference baseline for C2ISR system integration, testing, validation, and sustainment, ensuring lab configurations accurately mirror operational site environments.
  • Lead and manage all SIL engineering staff, establishing priorities, workload assignments, and technical standards across the full lab environment.
  • Oversee pre-deployment integration activities for SATCOM terminals, routers, gateway components, and network transport nodes conducted within the SIL.
  • Manage SIL baseline configuration bundles including routing, firmware, waveform, and system images; ensure all changes are captured in configuration management repositories and approved through the appropriate change control process.
  • Direct scenario-based integration and regression testing including operational failover, contingency routing, and peak load performance assessments.
  • Maintain SIL cyber posture through routine patching, vulnerability scanning, STIG compliance checks, and alignment with operational security baselines; support RMF control mapping and architecture hardening activities.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for resolving complex cross-domain data flow and ISR relay problems identified during SIL operations.
  • Coordinate with OEM support teams and relevant government agencies to integrate transport system constraints into SIL test planning and resolve interoperability challenges.
  • Develop and maintain SIL-vetted checklists, integration procedures, and deployment playbooks used by site installation teams across all supported locations.
  • Oversee HVAC, power, and physical infrastructure management within the SIL facility, coordinating maintenance actions to prevent operational impact.
  • Coordinate with the VAR administrator and site security personnel to manage facility access controls, visitor coordination, and clearance administration.
  • Brief program leadership and government stakeholders on SIL status, integration outcomes, and recommended configuration changes.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous experience managing or leading a Systems Integration Lab or equivalent technical lab environment supporting a DoD program, with demonstrated work on C2ISR systems, network transport infrastructure, or SATCOM operations.
  • 12+ years of experience, with supervisory or management experience

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Hands-on expertise in network architecture, routing, switching, and transport engineering supporting classified and unclassified environments.
  • Practical experience with SATCOM terminal installation, alignment, configuration, and troubleshooting including waveform and modem management.
  • Experience supporting RMF accreditation, DISA STIGs, and NIST SP 800-53 security controls within lab or operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct multidisciplinary engineering teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
