Within this role you would be responsible for developing compliant, compelling, and executable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. These solutions may span Mission Engineering, Digital Transformation, AI/Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Tactical Edge, Directed Energy, and Cloud/Enterprise IT.

The LSA leads multidisciplinary teams using Peraton’s Solution Development Methodology (SDM) and partners closely with capture, delivery, and technology stakeholders to drive solutions that are technically sound, cost-effective, and responsive to customer needs in contested, complex, or data-intensive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and lead technical solutions aligned to customer missions across the federal landscape, including national security, defense, cyber, intelligence, and civilian domains.
  • Partner with business development, capture, and technical teams to define solution strategies that align with customer objectives and anticipated evaluation criteria.
  • Lead diverse teams of SMEs and technologists to develop integrated, discriminating solutions across a range of mission needs—from tactical edge computing and AI/ML pipelines to full-stack enterprise IT architectures.
  • Apply experience in complex system integration, predictive analytics, and emerging technology readiness to create scalable, modular, and forward-looking architectures.
  • Serve as the technical face of the solution during proposal reviews and color team gates; mitigate solution risk and ensure alignment with win themes and value propositions.
  • Provide support through the transition from bid to execution, ensuring solution fidelity during program startup and delivery ramp-up.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field and 16+ years of relevant industry experience (14+ with Master’s, or 10+ with PhD)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex technical solutions for large-scale U.S. Federal Government pursuits, across one or more domains such as:
    • Mission Engineering
    • AI / Data / Predictive Analytics
    • Cybersecurity & Zero Trust Architectures
    • Tactical or Enterprise IT Infrastructure
    • Cloud / Edge Computing
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through ambiguity and complexity to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions aligned with program or solicitation requirements
  • Demonstrated experience preparing solution content for proposals and oral presentations, and communicating effectively with stakeholders across technical and executive levels
  • U.S. Citizenship and a minimum of a Secret with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of solution development, systems engineering, or mission architecture experience.
  • Experience delivering or capturing solutions for defense, intelligence, homeland security, or federal civilian agencies.

  • Background in analytics, C2 integration, or applied AI/ML for real-time decision support, autonomy, or edge environments.
